In the event of a disaster that results in data loss or corruption, Scholars Portal can restore information from one of two backup copies. Beyond the repository's own copies, it may be possible to re-ingest content held by the providers. The repository uses industry-standard practices for backup management and refreshment in order to ensure the long-term integrity and quality of information.
