E-Books Working Group

Background

The Scholars Portal E-Books Working Group was formed, following this year's Scholars Portal Forum on E-Books, to work with the University of Toronto Library, as service provider for Scholars Portal, to explore options for setting up a locally hosted e-books server platform for OCUL. The E-Book Working Group will solicit input from all the OCUL libraries in this process, from setting requirements for an e-book platform, to be included in an RFI, to gathering feedback from the schools about vendor presentations. The Working Group reports to the Scholars Portal Operations and Development Group - a new management team established by the OCUL Directors to guide ongoing Scholars Portal Operations.
